If by sea, “ocean” marine or “wet” marine; otherwise, “inland” marine. We have one of the very few true marine insurance departments in New Jersey offering insurance programs for marinas, marine contractors, boat dealers, bulkhead & dock builders, and yacht clubs.
In 1967, Allan “Gil” Anderson established the G. Anderson Agency as a general insurance and real estate agency serving the Long Beach Island area. The company’s first home in Haven Beach was a modest building, staffed by four employees. Within six years, the firm had expanded into Manahawkin with a second office and five new staff members. Between the island and the mainland, these two branches were buzzing, offering everything from New Jersey business insurance to workers compensation insurance to property casualty insurance for local businesses and residents.
